Is canned salmon healthy?
Canned salmon offers many of the same health benefits as fresh salmon, including being an excellent source of high-quality protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and essential vitamins and minerals.
When choosing canned salmon, look for wild-caught varieties, which tend to have higher omega-3 content and fewer contaminants than farmed salmon. Additionally, opt for products that are packed in water or their own juices rather than oil to keep the calorie count low.
