Enjoy a low carb bbq with this spicy low carb bbq sauce. It’s a quick and easy recipe that can be made in minutes and stored in the fridge for use when you need it.

Save yourself the trouble of reading all the ingredients on a bottle of BBQ sauce to see if it’s low carb and make your own!  Traditional bbq sauces have a lot of sugar in them which this one does not.

spicy & smoky low carb bbq sauce

This BBQ sauce is a spicy tomato sauce based with a smoky taste. The smoky taste is due to the liquid smoke and the mix of herbs. Add more liquid smoke to taste for a deeper smoky taste and tweak the spices if need me.

This tasty smoky BBQ sauce goes great with meat, fish and vegetables. The Chief Taster has been in BBQ food tasting heaven as I have been splashing this around the kitchen with abundance. I’ve never been a big fan of BBQ sauce but have enjoyed this on my veggies. I’ve been converted to the joys of BBQ sauce and a jar of this now resides in my fridge on a permanent basis.

HOW TO MAKE LOW CARB BBQ SAUCE

Making your own low carb BBQ sauce could not be easier. It’s a simply as heating all the ingredients in a saucepan, stir, adjust to taste and voila! I start with this mixture and play around depending upon my taste buds that day.
Feel free to take this sauce as a base and vary the flavour. BBQ sauce can be sweeter, hotter or smokier.

HOW TO USE THIS KETO BBQ SAUCE

The beauty of this low carb bbq sauce is that is can be used as a marinade, slathered over your meat or fish or added to a dip for extra flavour. I’ve made tasty chicken burgers with this and also used it for a chicken roll up. It’s also been splashed about during a chicken and zucchini stir fry and my BBQ palm hearts would be dull without it.
