This cottage cheese Buffalo chicken dip is a great low carb party or Game day dip. Creamy cottage cheese meets zesty Buffalo chicken for a flavor-packed, protein-rich delight.

All of the flavors of classic Buffalo chicken in a creamy, cheesy dip. Tender, spicy chicken meets the velvety goodness of cottage cheese, creating a delicious blend of flavors and textures. Served hot and bubbling it will be a hit at any gathering.

This is an easy dip to make that can be made quickly with items you may already have in the fridge. It was a huge hit with the Chief Taster and I've used it as a side sauce for a dinners too. Try it with roasted broccoli for a side dish!

Recipe Tips

Get creative by adding extra ingredients like blue cheese crumbles, diced jalapeños, or bacon bits for extra flavor and texture.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 cup cottage cheese, plain
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • ½ cup Buffalo sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup spring onions, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees.
  • Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  • Spoon the mixture into a baking dish. We use a 9 x 13 sized baking dish. You could top the dip with grated cheese.
  • Bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Decorate with chopped spring onions, bacon bits or blue cheese crumbles.
