Buffalo chicken dip is made with cottage cheese for a creamy low carb dip to enjoy as an appetizer, bring to gatherings or Game Day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese, plain
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • ½ cup Buffalo sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup spring onions, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees.
  • Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  • Spoon the mixture into a baking dish. We use a 9 x 13 sized baking dish. You could top the dip with grated cheese.
  • Bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Decorate with chopped spring onions, bacon bits or blue cheese crumbles.
