Is Cream Cheese Keto?
Yes, cream cheese is considered keto-friendly in moderation. It's low in carbohydrates and high in fat, which makes it suitable for a ketogenic diet. Here's a quick breakdown:
- Carbs: Cream cheese typically contains about 1-2 grams of net carbs per ounce (28 grams), depending on the brand and variety.
- Fats: It is high in fat, with around 9-10 grams per ounce.
- Protein: It has about 2 grams of protein per ounce.
When incorporating cream cheese into a keto diet, check the nutrition label to ensure there are no added sugars or fillers that could increase the carb count. It can be used in recipes for dips, desserts, fat bombs, or as a topping.

I cannot use erythritol at all. I prefer pure Monkfruit. My husband can only use stevia with no erythritol. Can pure stevia or pure Monkfruit be substituted for any of these recipes using erythritol?
Angela Coleby
Yes, you can you monk fruit. This is an old recipe when I used erythritol but I have now crossed over to monkfruit or allulose for all my recipes.
