A keto strawberry daiquiri is a refreshing and low-carb cocktail that is perfect for those following a ketogenic diet. Made with fresh strawberries, lime juice, rum, and a low-carb sweetener such as stevia or allulose, this drink is a delicious way to enjoy a fruity and boozy beverage while staying within the guidelines of a keto diet.
It's a great option for summer parties or relaxing evenings at home. In this recipe, the traditional sugar syrup is substituted with a keto-friendly sweetener, making it a guilt-free indulgence for anyone watching their carb intake.
A homemade daiquiri is a great way of making sure that you don't have any sneaky sugars as some bars may use a sugary mix for their cocktails.

CARBS IN STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI
The number of carbs in a strawberry daiquiri can vary depending on the recipe and the specific ingredients used. Traditional strawberry daiquiri recipes typically contain a significant amount of sugar, which can make the carb count quite high.
However, if you make a keto-friendly strawberry daiquiri using low-carb sweeteners and fresh strawberries, you can significantly reduce the carb count. A typical keto strawberry daiquiri recipe can contain anywhere from 2-6 grams of carbs per serving, making it a great option for anyone following a low-carb or keto diet.
ARE THERE CARBS IN RUM?
The number of carbs in rum can vary depending on the type and brand of rum you choose. Generally speaking, unflavored and unsweetened rums contain very little to no carbs, as they are made from distilled sugarcane or molasses and do not have any added sugars.
However, flavored or spiced rums can contain added sugars and carbohydrates, which can increase their carb count. For example, a spiced rum with added caramel or vanilla flavoring may contain up to 8 grams of carbs per 1.5 oz serving.
INGREDIENTS
Just 4 ingredients make this easy low carb daiquiri recipe.
- White rum - we are lucky living in the Caribbean that we have a good quality rum to hand. White rum has a milder sweet flavor that works great in daiquiris.
- Strawberries - fresh or frozen can be used.
- Lime juice - fresh is better than bottles.
- Sweetener - some daiquiri recipes may use a sugar free syrup but we use allulose as it dissolves well in liquid.
