Shrimp lettuce wraps are a light and refreshing dish that combine tender, seasoned shrimp with crisp lettuce leaves, vibrant vegetables, and a zesty, tangy sauce, making each bite both satisfying and healthy. Shrimp lettuce Wrap Ingredients

Shrimp:

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional for spice)
  • ½ teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Wraps:

  • 1 head butter lettuce or romaine leaves
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • ½ cup red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • ½ cup cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • Lime wedges for serving

Sauce:

  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt or mayo
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Shrimp
    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Add garlic and ginger, then sauté for 30 seconds.
    • Add shrimp, soy sauce, honey, and sriracha. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp is pink and opaque.
    • Remove from heat.
  2. Prepare the Sauce
    • In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt (or mayo), lime juice, honey, sriracha, and salt.
  3. Assemble the Wraps
    • Place shrimp in each lettuce leaf.
    • Top with shredded carrots, red bell pepper, cucumber, cilantro, and chopped peanuts.
    • Drizzle with sauce.
  4. Serve & Enjoy
    • Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side!
