I do love cheese and this is a great snack without reaching for a packet of Doritos/Walkers/Lays...It could not be easier to make either.   Basically, it is grated cheese on a piece of parchment paper baked in the oven until melted.   You can use a variety of hard cheeses but I prefer Parmesan.  I have added flavourings such as various herbs or garlic powder to some batches.  This is nice but check the bottle of any herbs/flavouring you are adding for the salt content .  Another tip is once removed from the oven, you could roll them up into little tubes and cool.   Then fill with cream cheese or any other filling that you want.    Yummy!

    INGREDIENTS

75g grated cheese (I prefer Parmesan..any other hard cheese will do)

    METHOD

    • Heat the oven to 180C/350F degrees.
    • Place a piece of parchmount paper on a baking tray.
    • Put small mounds of cheese on the parchmount paper and pop into the oven.

    • Cook for about 5-7 minutes until melted and the edges are golden.
    • Eat and enjoy!
