Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry is a hearty, flavorful dish that combines tender slices of beef with broccoli in a rich, umami-packed sauce. The quick stir-frying technique preserves the freshness and crunch of the vegetables while infusing the beef with bold flavors, making it an ideal choice for busy weeknights. Although this versatile meal is enjoyed all year, its warming and satisfying profile is especially comforting during the cooler months of fall and winter.

  2. While marinating, bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the broccoli for about 1 minute; drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger; stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  5. Add the blanched broccoli to the pan and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes. Return the beef to the pan.
  6. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Adjust salt and pepper to taste, and add red pepper flakes if desired.
