This is a gorgeous, decadent, smooth, creamy, divalicous sauce that is lovely over veggies and chicken. Simple to make too. I love this over broccoli or cauliflower as a quick supper dish. Or over shredded courgettes (zucchini) in ribbons to pretend it is a pasta dish. Just as filling but without the carbs! An amazing replacement for the bechamel cheese sauce I used to make before my low carb days.
Keto Alfredo Sauce
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat. Add the cream and stir constantly.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and cream cheese. Season with the garlic powder and salt & pepper. Stir until the cheese has melted.
- Eat and enjoy
