Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese

Instructions

Bake in Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Lightly spray the parchment paper with oil.
  • Drain excess liquid from the cottage cheese using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to help the chips crisp up better.
  • Using a spoon or a small ice cream scoop, drop small mounds of the seasoned cottage cheese onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each mound with the back of the spoon to form thin, round chips. Ensure they are spaced apart for even baking.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  • Remove the chips from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes. They will continue to crisp up as they cool. Transfer the cooled chips to a serving plate and enjoy them as a snack or with your favorite dip.

Microwave Chips

  • Lightly spray parchment paper sized to fit the microwave plate with oil.
  • Drain excess liquid from the cottage cheese using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to help the chips crisp up better.
  • Spoon an even layer of cottage cheese onto the parchment paper.
  • Microwave the cottage cheese on high for 2 - 3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Cooking times may vary depending on your microwave's power, so keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
  • Carefully remove the plate from the microwave and let the mixture cool on the parchment paper for a few minutes. Break into snack sized pieces.
