Camembert is baked with a herbed walnut crush for a delicious low carb appetizer or a great addition to a cheese board.

Ingredients

  • 14 oz Camembert wheel
  • ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 medium egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons thyme fresh or dried

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees.
  • Mix the chopped walnuts and herbs in a shallow bowl.
  • Dip the Camembert into the beaten egg, then into the nut mixture, ensuring that the cheese is thoroughly coated. Double dip if needed.
  • Place the cheese onto a parchment lined baking tray and bake for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

A serving is quarter of the camembert wheel.
