Create a delicious and healthy sugar-free ginger syrup with just a few simple ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 large piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup allulose or other low carb sweetener

Instructions

  • Peel the ginger and slice into thin pieces.
  • Place all ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Lower the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring to ensure the sweetener is dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and cool.
  • Sieve the liquid to remove the ginger pieces and store in a sealable jar.

Notes

Makes just under a cup of syrup with one serving being 2 tablespoons.
