Cheesy cabbage casserole is a delicious and comforting dish that combines the earthy flavors of cabbage with the richness of cheese.

- ½ head cabbage
- 2 oz butter
- 8 oz Heavy Cream
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 4 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
- 8 oz Cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 oz peanuts
- ½ teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Make the cheese sauce
In a medium saucepan, add the cream, cream cheese and butter and melt on a low heat.
Add in 4oz of the Cheddar cheese and stir until it has melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assembly
Place half of the cabbage in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish.
Spoon half of the cheese sauce over the cabbage and scatter the peanuts on top.
Sprinkle half of the Parmesan cheese on top and repeat the layers.
Top with the remaining Cheddar cheese and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the top is golden.
