Ingredients

Instructions

  • Begin by preheating your waffle iron according to its manufacturer's instructions. It's essential to make sure it's hot and ready to cook your peanut butter waffles.
  • In a mixing bowl add the peanut butter and one large egg. Whisk them together until you have a smooth and well-incorporated mixture. This will be your waffle batter.
  • Lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
  • Pour the waffle mixture onto the hot waffle iron. Close the waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions. This usually takes 2-4 minutes, or until the waffle is golden brown and slightly crispy.
  • Carefully remove the peanut butter waffle from the iron using a fork or spatula, and place it on a plate. You can serve it as is for a simple and nutty flavor, or serve with sugar free maple syrup, chopped pecans, whipped cream, strawberries or blueberries for extra sweetness.

Notes
