This Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp is a quick and flavorful dish that’s perfect for a light meal or a delicious topping for pasta, rice, or salads. It takes less than 20 minutes to prepare!

  • Prepare the Shrimp
    Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
    Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Cook the Shrimp
    Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
    Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
  • Make the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce
    Reduce heat to medium and add the remaining 1 tablespoon butter to the skillet.
    Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    Add fresh lemon juice and lemon zest, stirring to combine.
  • Combine & Serve
    Return the shrimp to the pan, tossing to coat in the lemon garlic butter sauce.
    Cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
    Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

This dish pairs well with rice, pasta, or crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce!
