Ingredients

Instructions

  • Remove the Camembert from its packaging and slice into 8 wedges.
  • In two shallow bowls, add the beaten egg in one, and in the other bowl mix the almond flour with the Italian seasoning and salt.
  • Dip the Camembert wedges into the beaten egg mixture, then into the seasoned almond flour, coating the wedges thoroughly. Repeat to seal the cheese wedges.
  • Place the covered wedges on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and put the baking sheet into the freezer for an hour.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure that it's hot and ready when you're ready to cook the Camembert.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer tray with oil and remove the Camembert wedges from the freezer. Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10 minutes until the coating is golden. Monitor them as they cook to prevent overcooking or burning.
  • Carefully remove the Camembert from the air fryer and let it cool for a minute or two. It will be very hot. Serve it with your favorite low-carb dipping sauces or additional herbs for garnish.

Notes

Makes 8 wedges.
Cooking times may vary between different air fryers.
