This homemade Kahlua recipe is sugar free and low carb. Enjoy a glass over ice or in low carb cocktails
- 1 ½ cups strong instant coffee
- 1 cup rum dark is preferable
- 2 cups brown monkfruit sweetener
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Pour the brewed coffee into a large jug and add the brown monkfruit sweetener. Stir to dissolve and set aside to cool.
Add the rum and vanilla and stir thoroughly.
Pour into sealable glass bottles and you ready to serve!
The total recipe makes 20 fluid ounces. We have based a serving on a 2oz tall shot glass.
The net carbs will be the total carb count minus the fibre count. Carb count excludes sugar alcohols.
