avocado truffle chocolates

Ingredients

avocado
peeled and stone removed
6
oz
chocolate
dark and high cocoa solids
1
teaspoon
ground nutmeg
2
teaspoon
Monkfruit
or other sugar substitute
½
teaspoon
vanilla extract
2
tablespoons
coconut oil
¼
teaspooon salt
Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
Melt chocolate in a Bain Marie or in the microwave.
Mash the avocado with a fork in a bowl.
Add the sweetener and seasoning and blend well.
Add the melted chocolate and stir until combined.
Taste and adjust.
Place in the fridge for 2 hours or until firm.
Remove and scoop walnut sized balls from the mixture.
Using your clean hands, fashion the mixture into a ball shape. Repeat.
Dip the truffle balls into the cocoa power or other topping you wish to use.
Eat and enjoy!
Makes 15 truffles.
