Quick, easy and full of flavor, these air fryer salmon bites are a spicy appetizer ready in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • ½ lb salmon fillet
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning mix

Instructions

Prepare the Air Fryer

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. This will ensure that it's nice and hot when you're ready to cook the salmon bites.

Prepare the Salmon

  • With a sharp knife, remove the skin from the salmon fillet. Cut the salmon fillet into small bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 inches in size. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture. Set aside.

Make the Seasoning

  • In a small bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, lemon juice and olive oil. Mix well to ensure all the spices are evenly incorporated.

Coat the salmon

  • Add the salmon chunks to the bowl with the seasoning and coat evenly.

Air fry the salmon bites

  • Lightly grease the air fryer basket or tray with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer in the basket or tray, leaving space between each piece for even cooking. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the salmon bites in batches. Cook for 5-6 minutes at 200C/400F degrees.
  • Serve and enjoy.
