Avocado de gallo is a fresh and flavorful variation of the classic pico de gallo salsa, featuring the addition of creamy and nutritious avocado. Perfect as a dip or topping for tacos, salads, and grilled meats, this easy and healthy recipe is sure to become a new favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 large red tomatoes
  • ½ red onion finely chopped
  • 2 jalapeno peppers
  • ½ cup cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 avocado, ripe cut into chunks

Instructions

  • Cut the tomatoes into quarters and remove the seeds and flesh. Dice into small squares of about a quarter of a cm.
  • Remove the seeds from the jalapeno peppers and finely dice.
  • Add all chopped ingredients to a large mixing bowl and add the cilantro, salt and lime juice and stir to combine all the ingredients well.
  • Serve with the chopped avocado on top.
