Mars Bar Vodka

Am quietly fuming that I only recently discovered this gem of a recipe that seems to have been around for a while.    If you like Baileys you will love this.  It is just as creamy but packs more of a punch.   Is not on our “healthy” eating lifestyle as it is alcohol and refined sugar so is a treat and not a weekly event.   Sadly.  But a Diva has to have the odd treat.   Or a nice treat for guests during festive holidays…or a present for a favourite Aunt.   Or something to hand when the ladies come over…..any excuse really…


5 Mars bars

150 ml cream

500 ml vodka (use a half decent brand, not expensive, but not too cheap.)   Make sure the bottle has room for the Mars bar mixture, use a large bottle than 500 ml.  


  1. Cut up the Mars Bars into pieces, add to the cream and put into a saucepan over a low heat until melted.
  2. Pour the mixture into the vodka bottle, tighten lid and shake for two minutes.
  3. Store in the fridge and resist testing for at least a week.
  4. Shake before serving. 
  5. Enjoy and resist the sugar/carb cravings that may appear as a result of consuming this.
