Lemon Foot Soak

Soaking your feet is a must to help dry and cracked feet.  I love the citrus smell of lemon in this treatment.   It is amazing how many ingredients that you have in your kitchen can be used in your beauty regime too!

Bowl of warm soapy water

1 tspn Vaseline

Juice of one lemon

  • Soak your feet in the warm soapy water for at least 15 minutes.   Wash and dry feet.
  • Mix the Vaseline and lemon juice in a bowl.  Rub the mixture on your feet and heels.

Lemon Foot Mask

This is designed for the toes, toe nails and soles of the feet.   A lovely refreshing lemony scent too!   A use for vodka that does not involve a mixer or cocktail straw too!

1 tblspn vodka (optional)

1 egg

1 cup milk

1/2 cup lemon juice

1 drop lemon essential oil

  • Put all ingredients in a blender and blend well.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl large enough to soak your feet in.
  • Soak your clean feet in the mixture for about 15 minutes. Use your toes and feet to massage your toes and feet with the mask. If it’s convenient and comfortable, use can hold your feet up long enough for the mixture to dry a bit. Then soak again. Afterward, rinse feet well with warm water and give yourself a light foot massage with any kind of massage oil you have on hand. Enjoy your pampered feet!!

Strawberry Foot Scrub

Feet in the summer need a lot of tender care with the dry air and the constant wearing of sandals and weekly pedicures and feet treatments are a must.  This has a lovely, refeshing scent and is a perfect pick me up for tired feet.  It’s also a great way to use up any surplus strawberries or the “mushy” ones that always seem to be at the bottom of the carton.
