Yoghurt and Honey Face Mask

Honey is another wonder found in the kitchen that can be used in the bathroom.   It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties.  It helps reduce inflamation and redness so it great for acne treatment.   Use organic honey for the best results.

INGREDIENTS

1 tspn honey

1 tblspn plain yoghurt

PREPARATION

  • Mix the honey and yoghurt together.
  • Spread on your face and leave for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse off with warm water and pat face dry.
  • Enjoy fresh, soft skin!

    Ola! Angie C,
    This question may be a little off-topic, Preferably for oily, acne prone skin please! I’ve heard oatmeal, lemon, bio yoghurt, honey, penutbutter and tomatos are good ingrediants to use (not in the same mask though, lol). Do you know of any other ingrediants that have worked wonders? What does each one do?

      Hello again David! I believe that oatmeal, lemon, honey and tomatoes are all good for oily skin. I would recommend an aspirin face mask with a bit of honey and a touch of cinnamon to it. Aspirin is an amazing face mask for oil skin and seems to help with the redness, honey soothes the skin, making it feel soft and is a great antispectic. Cinnamon is great for treating spots…make a paste of it with some honey and apply to the affected area.
