Yoghurt, Honey and Aspirin Face Mask

Stop spending money on fancy face masks when you have effective ingredients in your kitchen and medicine cabinet!   Sounds cheap but these ingredients are natural and effective! This is great for oily skin as the yoghurt soothes and is a natural astringent, so will tighten your pores too.  I now cannot use anything chemical on my skin (dramatic story only to be shared over a drink if you are paying) and I can honestly say that the natural scrubs and masks I am now using are more effective than any expensive brand name I had previously used.   Just look at my glowing, flushed face at the next brunch….well, perhaps not…   I could kick myself for not seeking the natural route sooner, but hey, live and learn!

INSTRUCTIONS

Drop 7 to 8 uncoated aspirins into 3-4 tablespoons natural yoghurt.  Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey and mix thorougly ensuring that the aspirin have dissolved.   Mix until you have a paste that is thick enough to stay on your skin.

Spread and massage the paste over your face and keep on for 10 – 20 minutes (lay down and listen to soothing music or an episode of “Will and Grace”….or whatever takes your fancy

Wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry.
